OUR MINISTRIES

All that we take up to do is in obedience to the two great commands

Matthew 22:37-40 (KJV)
37   Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38  This is the first and great commandment.
39  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Everything we do should show the Love God has shown us through Jesus, His Son. Before we take up a ministry we make sure that we all can work meaningfully in that ministry; each according to their gifts

Unified Worship

We all join together in the Sanctuary for the Worship Service. There are times of praise, times of prayer and the Word is preached. We do not separate by age, gender or diagnosis, we worship as one body.

Sunday School

We use a "one-room school house" approach. Various materials and tools are used that present, explain and demonstrate the Word of God. The stronger support the weaker and we all rejoice when the weaker take the lead.

Wednesday Bible Study

This is the time for deeper study. We go slow and we go deep. We are continually going step by step through the Word of God. Whether we use the Talmud as a guide through the Old Testament or a noted Teacher and Scholar's study guide, we pause to discuss, disagree, celebrate, pray or question.

Feasts

Proverbs 22:28 (KJV)
28  Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.

The Bible commands us to celebrate certain days as Holy Days. We recognize these days and celebrate them all the more since the revelation of Jesus the Messiah gives us greater understanding of these events. So from Purim to Passover, from Shavuot to Rosh Hashanah we celebrate today our past and our future.

Missions

Matthew 28:19 (KJV)
19  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

This little Church has been blessed to cast a large shadow through its support of Missions and Missionaries. The missions this Church chooses to support are selected to include Jerusalem as well as local, national and international works.

Servant Hearts

Matthew 10:42 (KJV)
42  And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

You will find the people of this Church using their talents to serve in so many different ways. Through Special Olympics, American Red Cross, Humane Society of Tampa Bay or any other number of worthwhile efforts you'll find the servants of God doing just that: serving.
